Quality is great. But no subs, and I'm in need of one. I couldn't find one on the web. Seems like I'm gonna have to do the syncing myself =/

It's legit. DvD sound/video quality, not something that someone recorded with a camcorder in a movie theater.

When I click to download it doesn't do it, it shows up in my downloads box but nothing downloads. Then when I click on the file it asks a program to open with, I choose VLC and then nothing happens. Where am I going wrong?

No, it's not? Make sure, that You are using the last version of VLC player. Works good for me.
